NBAA and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) launched the Business Aviation E-Valuation Toolkit on Tuesday at the NBAA Convention. The toolkit is a new online resource that helps users calculate and explain the value of business aircraft in relation to a company’s business objectives. “With this toolkit, we’ve put the information for articulating the value of a business aircraft literally at people’s fingertips,” noted GAMA president and CEO Pete Bunce. “We’re confident that this resource will be indispensable in helping the industry clearly communicate the benefits of business aviation.”

The toolkit identifies five basic resources every company in business aviation should have for measuring an aircraft’s value, including a policy statement for use of the aircraft; a method for establishing value metrics; a document-retention program to catalog mission information; a flight operation presentation for internal company use; and a presentation for external audiences that can promote the benefits of business aviation.

E-valuation contains essential guidance, including documents outlining best practices, sample templates and other resources, NBAA and GAMA said. The documents are accompanied by a series of tutorial videos that walk viewers through the key considerations for developing the five resources. The toolkit can be accessed at the associations’ No Plane No Gain Web site (www.noplanenogain.org).
