FlyRight has achieved qualification for its level-C King Air 200 flight simulator in the U.S., Canada, Brazil and China. FlyRight's FAA Part 142-approved training facility offers initial and recurrent training for King Air 90s, 200s and 300/350s. The training device is also configurable for Beech 1900 instruction.

The full flight simulator is equipped with Collins EFIS, Honeywell TCAS and Sandel TAWS. Garmin GNS 400 and Honeywell KLN-90B avionics are available, enabling students to practice GPS approaches.

Students in the initial training program must possess an unrestricted multi-engine private pilot certificate with an instrument rating. In addition, recurrent students require 50 hours of pilot-in-command time in a King Air, or completion of an approved initial or recurrent training course in the past 24 months. Initial or recurrent students without an ATP have the option to combine their course with an additional day of training to earn the ATP certificate.

FlyRight also offers a quarterly recurrent training program called Rolling Recurrent. This insurance-approved program offers single-day training modules for pilots who prefer more frequent training to maintain FAA recency of experience requirements.

Two full-time and three part-time instructors are available, and enrollment is flexible. "We aim to accommodate our clients as close to their schedule as possible," said Tom Leahy, vice president of training at FlyRight.

FlyRight's modern facility has been in operation since May 2008 and is located adjacent to Concord Regional Airport near Charlotte, N.C. At the NBAA convention, FlyRight is located in Booth No. 78
