Jeppesen’s new website portal––offers users a single sign-on and one-stop experience optimized for both desktop and mobile computing devices. The new portal also provides a consolidated location for self-guided management of essential Jeppesen subscription services. One of the newest products added to–FlitePlan Online–was designed to enhance business aviation’s utility by allowing flight plans to be filed from anywhere in the world in less than a minute.

Jeppesen’s FlitePlan Online uses a framework of proprietary tools to simplify the flight planning process with the help of an intuitive graphical interface. On-screen aircraft models are specifically tailored for the aircraft, based on an operator’s cabin layout. Delivery options for FlitePlan include printing, e-mailing or directly loading the flight plan to the aircraft’s FMS for filing.

“FlitePlan Online was created in concert with pilot user experience to eliminate slow load times and multiple-step data entry keystrokes,” said Tim Huegel, director of Jeppesen’s Aviation Portfolio Management.
