Jet Aviation Flight Services will operate and manage a U.S.-based fleet of Bombardier Global jets for VistaJet’s Flight Solutions Program, the two Swiss companies announced before the show.

“Our alliance with Jet Aviation Flight Services is key to growing our business in the world’s largest corporate aircraft marketplace,” said Thomas Flohr, VistaJet founder and chairman. “We are confident that the VistaJet customer experience on flights operated by Jet Aviation will be seamless.”

The first VistaJet Global Jet operated by Jet Aviation (Booth No. N1932) will be based at Teterboro, with additional jets to be located at other Jet Aviation facilities based on demand.

“With the addition of all-new Global business aircraft under management in the U.S., we will have a unique offering in terms of large-cabin, ultra-long range jets,” said Don Haliburdo, v-p and general manager, Jet Aviation Flight Services. “We look forward to providing the highest level of service and attention that VistaJet customers are accustomed to on international destinations.”

Here at NBAA 2013, Jet Aviation also announced adding its first Airbus ACJ318 executive airliner and a Cessna Citation X to its U.S.-managed charter fleet. The Airbus, based on the West Coast, will be added to Jet Aviation Flight Service’s Part 135 air carrier certificate early in 2014, making it the first Airbus ACJ318 available for charter in the U.S.

“It’s a huge benefit to our customers to have access to a wide body cabin jet when traveling long distances,” Haloburdo said of the ACJ, while the Chicago-based Citation X will “provide charter options to meet our clients needs.”
