Dubai airshow organizer Fairs & Exhibitions has added a conference dedicated to Middle East’s surging business market to this year’s event. The Mid East Business Jet Conference is scheduled for November 19, the day before the opening of Dubai 2005. “Delegates will hear not only from manufacturers but also from users and operators bringing all sides of this important business equation together,” said Clive Richardson, chief executive, aerospace division.
“There are numerous factors driving the business jet and private charter market within the Middle East,” added Alison Weller, Dubai airshow project manager. “These include increasing ownership of private aircraft, along with demand for a variety of business options, including full and fractional ownership as well as chartering.” Events such as the Bahrain Formula 1 grand prix and the Dubai shopping festival have also stimulated demand in the charter market.
