China Orders Thales Airbus A320 Sims

Thales is to supply the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China with an Airbus A320 Standard 1.5.0 level-D full-flight simulator and an A320-configured Thales formation systems trainer. The simulator, the first bought by the Chinese regulatory authority, will become the reference standard for the inspectors responsible for certifying that similar devices in the country meet regulatory standards for providing the highest level of pilot training. Based on the Thales C2000X system, it will use the new eM2K six degrees of freedom electric motion system.
