AgustaWestland Chalks Up Five Orders

Helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland has announced five new orders from the government of Egypt and Indonesia-based Susi Air. Egypt has signed a contract for three AW109 Power light twins. The Egyptian air force will operate these on behalf of the Ministry of Health for emergency medical services.

In Indonesia, Susi Air has ordered one AW119 Ke single and one Grand light twin. The AW119 Ke will receive a quick-change interior for passenger transport, aerial work and medical missions. Susi Air will use the VIP-configured Grand for charter flights in the Jakarta area.

AgustaWestland also announced that Danish operator Bel Air has taken delivery of a 12-seat AW139 medium-twin helicopter for offshore operations.
