Messier-Dowty To Cooperate with Chinese Firm

Messier-Dowty yesterday announced that it has signed a letter of intent to cooperate with Landing Gear Advanced Manufacturing Corp. (LAMC) of China and to make a joint offer to the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC)
for the landing gear of the C919 single-aisle aircraft. The agreement is about complete landing gears, including structures, wheels and brakes. It was signed on June 5 in Shanghai by Messier-Dowty CEO Pascal Sénéchal, who was also representing Messier-Dowty, and Xu Jun, president of LAMC, also representing Xian Aviation Brake Technology and First Aircraft Institute.
