Deliveries of turbine-powered business airplanes will continue to fall through the end of next year before beginning a slow but steady recovery in 2011, according to a market forecast released on Friday by avionics maker Rockwell Collins.

Fractional-share operator Avantair released its fiscal fourth-quarter financial results yesterday, which included growing revenues, declining operating losses and an EBITDA profit. Avantair operates a fleet of 52 Piaggio Avanti twin turboprops. The company added one more Avanti to the fleet during the fiscal quarter that ended June 30 and sold one core aircraft.

Falcon Aviation Services, a charter operator based in Abu Dhabi, has placed its Eurocopter EC 135 “L'Hélicoptère par Hermès” on the market, less than five months after taking delivery. UK-based PremiAir is marketing the luxurious light twin.

NBAA will again host the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) next January 18 and 19. The recession prompted the association to cancel the ABACE show that was to have been held earlier this year in February.
