Pratt & Whitney yesterday purchased the assets of Gas Turbine Efficiency, which provided the technology for P&Wπs EcoPower engine wash service. P&W has licensed the exclusive rights to the EcoPower technology since EcoPower launched the wash service in 2004.

To support OEMs, customers and partners in China, Rockwell Collins has opened a new China System Support Center (CSSC) in Shanghai. The CSSC is located in an existing Rockwell Collins facility in Shanghai, which is the companyπs third Shanghai facility and its fifth China location.

Executive Flight, a 29-year-old FBO and charter and maintenance provider headquartered in Wenatchee, Wash., has opened a satellite repair station at Boeing Field in Seattle. Executive Flight has been maintaining its own air ambulance aircraft at Boeing Field for the past 14 years, according to Mike Mahood, director of maintenance for the charter operation and repair station accountable manager.
