EASA Part 145 approval has been granted to Vector Aerospace Engines Services’ new UK facility for all variants of the Rolls-Royce 250 turboshaft and turbofan engines. The engine model, which powers a large number of helicopters and small fixed-wing aircraft, has been part of Vector’s engine services offerings for more than 20 years.

Hawker Beechcraft Services (HBS) has expanded its aircraft maintenance facility at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa, Ariz. The recently completed $14 million project added a second 26,000-sq-ft hangar which includes 22,000 sq ft of back shops, administrative offices and a customer lobby. The enhanced customer space offers guest offices for customers to use while their aircraft are being serviced.
Spare-parts company Ship It AOG has added a 7,000-sq-ft warehouse adjacent to its existing facility in Addison, Texas, bringing the total warehouse space to 14,000 sq ft. The company opened in 2000 and “for years we doubled our growth annually.
St. Louis-based JetCorp Technical Services announced it will be moving into a new facility also located on Spirit of St Louis Airport. It includes a 57,000-sq-ft hangar with shop space, a component and sheet metal work area, an avionics facility, and new maintenance and sales offices.
GE Aviation has named Cascade Aircraft Conversions an authorized service center (ASC) for its M601 and H80 engines. “With three recently announced authorized service center agreements, GE Aviation has greatly expanded its service offerings in North America,” Tom Hoferer, operations leader for GE Aviation’s Business and General Aviation Turboprops, told AIN.
