Sabreliner announced it has recently completed its first Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) on a Learjet 35 air ambulance. The OEM has teamed with L-3 Communications Flight International in Newport News, Va., to perform SLEP services and uses L-3’s FAA-approved STC. The aircraft is owned and operated by Aero Jet International, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based air ambulance company with more than 18 years experience in the industry.

Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support (GCS) has announced the appointment of two new authorized service centers. Air Works of Mumbai International Airport in Mumbai, India, has been designated to support the Beechcraft King Air and the Hawker Beechcraft Premier in the region.
Atlanta, Ga.-based Precision Aviation Group (PAG) has acquired Gardner Aviation Specialist. GAS, a Peachtree City, Ga.-based company, is an FAA repair station offering avionics installations, glass-panel upgrades, aircraft maintenance and MRO services. The acquisition allows PAG to expand the services it provides to customers operating fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. GAS operates out of a 35,000-sq-ft hangar on Falcon Field.
“We’re an FAA Part 145 third-party repair facility,” Marcellus Montalvo, president of Memphis-based InterSky Precision Instruments, told AIN. Montalvo said the 30-year-old company specializes in helping customers optimize their supply chain. “Aviation agency-certified independent suppliers provide expert repair services on high-mile or failed parts.
