Management at Landmark Aviation, the newly named entity that includes the former Garrett/Piedmont Hawthorne/Associated alliance, wasted no time climbing on the acquisition bandwagon. Company president Roger Wolfe announced at the NBAA Convention in Orlando last month that Carlyle Group-backed Landmark had reached an agreement with Jet Equity to acquire Skyport Flight Services, the 50-year-old FBO Jet Equity acquired in July last year.
