Dallas will be the site of the first AMT Society Aircraft Maintenance Show, scheduled to run from March 18 to 20. The event will be held in conjunction with the Aviation Industry Expo and will include an IA renewal program, skills competition, exhibition area, professional seminars, social events and more. The event kicks off with a golf outing, organized by Haggan Aviation, on March 17 at the Bear Creek Golf Club.

A Falcon 50 received Honeywell’s 1,900th TFE731 engine upgrade. It was modified to the -3D configuration. Honeywell offers engine upgrade options for most of its older engine fleet. The engine modification process allows operators of older TFEs to introduce newer engine technology to improve the value and functionality of their aircraft.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company has found completion of the first Superjet 100 a major challenge, after missing a year-end target for first flight that now appears likely to take place no sooner than late this month. Sources close to the project say the Superjet faces “integration issues” as well as engine delays.
