Metrojet has signed an agreement with Continuum to license Corridor software and implement the package in its Hong Kong facility. Training is scheduled, with full implementation slated for the first quarter. Corridor manages all aspects of aviation maintenance, from work orders to inventory management to accounting integration.

The FAA has approved eight valve-regulated sealed lead acid batteries
under Technical Standard Order C173 for Concorde Battery.

The TSO-approved models are Concorde’s RG-121 Series and RG-122 Series, emergency batteries for lighting, standby, avionics, fadec and backup power. Parts conforming to TSO C173 are approved for design and production.

Clifford Development appointed Little Rock, Ark.-based Central Flying Service as a service center for the Company’s Citation II and Citation S/II re-engining programs. Both programs use Williams International FJ44-3A engines. Two parallel supplemental type certificate programs are under way at Clifford Development to re-engine the Citation II and the Citation S/II.

Cutter Aviation Phoenix has received an FAA STC approval for the installation of dual Rockwell Collins AHS-3000 attitude heading reference systems on the Beechjet 400A. The STC allows for simple replacement of the aging and soon-to-be-obsolete AHS-85E AHRS. All new Hawker Beechcraft 400XPs will soon be coming off the line with the AHS-3000 system installed.

Eclipse Aviation will generate consistent and transferable manufacturing and maintenance procedures for use at its production facilities in Albuquerque, N.M., and its service centers in the U.S. Using a software suite from Right Hemisphere, Eclipse will develop illustrated production and maintenance instructions from the original 3-D computer-aided design of the Eclipse 500 VLJ.
