PremiAir is searching for qualified fixed-wing maintenance personnel for its new base at Oxford Airport, UK. The UK’s largest executive helicopter charter and management company announced it is moving its fixed-wing maintenance activity from Blackbushe Airport in Surrey to a dedicated maintenance base at Oxford.

Business is up and Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) is looking for qualified people to join its technical support teams for executive jets at Berlin Brandenburg.

The facility’s location, convenient for the general aviation terminal, has proved an ideal site for MRO services for executive jets, as well as supporting Germany’s Special Air Mission Wing.

BBA Aviation’s engine repair and overhaul division has added 16 new engine models to its existing authorizations on Pratt & Whitney Canada engines. The additions encompass eight new variants of the PT6A, seven variants of the PW100 and one variant of the PW500.

Avmats marked its 30th anniversary on April 29 with a gathering for customers in Kansas City, Mo. The event was held at the Airline History Museum at Kansas City Downtown Airport.

Attendees and their families toured the museum and aircraft and had a chance to meet with former Kansas City Chiefs football player Louie Aguiar.

Falcon 50 operators will now be able to take their aircraft to Midcoast Aviation, on St. Louis Downtown Airport, for the 50Dash4 performance upgrade. The company has been named an authorized distributor by Premier Aircraft, a joint venture between West Star Aviation and Yankee Pacific Aerospace.

GA Telesis (GAT) has acquired the assets of Curtiss Wright Accessories Services, including its 56,000-sq-ft facility in Miami. It will be rebranded as GA Telesis Component Repair Group Southeast. GAT supports servo controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, hydromechanical, electronics and power generation for Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer and McDonnell Douglas aircraft.
