While all eyes were on the Falcon 7X last month for its public unveiling, Dassault’s new Falcon 900DX was quietly making its way down the assembly line in Mérignac, France. The $31.95 million trijet, launched last May at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, replaces the Falcon 900C. First flight is scheduled for June, with certification and deliveries expected by year-end.
Utilicraft Aerospace Industries, a spin-off of American Utilicraft, last month gave Metalcraft Technologies (MTI) the go-ahead to construct the initial subassembly center fuselage section of the prototype FF-1080-300, as per the terms of a manufacturing agreement struck between the companies late last year.
Eclipse Aviation last month announced that its next two FAA-conforming Model 500 very light jets, N502EA and N504EA, have completed wing mate and are standing on their own gear. These two aircraft will join N503EA, which has been flying since December 31, later this month, rounding out the Eclipse 500 FAA certification flight-test fleet.
