Smyrna, Tenn.-based Corporate Flight Management (CFM) has expanded its maintenance division’s capacity by moving it from two relatively small hangars to a complex across the airport that provides an 80-percent increase in hangar space and five times more office space.

A joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa has produced one of the world’s largest MRO facilities. The 414,400-sq-ft maintenance hangar provides sufficient space to work on as many as four Airbus A380s at a time. Pratt & Whitney Canada signed a fleet-management program contract with Era Helicopters of Lake Charles, La., to provide engine support for its fleet of AgustaWestland AW119 Koalas. The agreement covers Era’s 26 installed and three spare PT6B-37A engines for a period of 11 years.
InterGlobe General Aviation, a subsidiary of InterGlobe Enterprises, is opening a Hawker Beechcraft authorized service center at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India. It is the first authorized service center for Hawkers in India.
