Stéphane Mayer, most recently chairman and CEO of ATR, has joined French airframer Daher-Socata as its CEO. He served as the chairman and CEO of EADS Socata from 2003 to 2007.

American Eurocopter has named Anthony DiNota v-p of commercial sales, marketing and customer support. Previously he was president and COO of air medical service provider Omniflight Helicopters.

When AIN visited Landmark Aviation’s San Diego International Airport FBO in July, the line service crew and general manager Charlie Ferraro were enjoying a respite from an influx of customers the day before. There were about 50 arrivals, mostly drop-offs of customers flying from Los Angeles to attend the hugely popular Comic-Con show at the San Diego Convention Center.

Signature Flight Support is offering ground handling, fuel, catering, hotel and limousine arrangements and other services at 12 airports in Germany. These services are available through agreements with local FBOs and airport authorities and are being coordinated by Signature’s Munich FBO. Operators benefit by paying just one invoice for all of the services provided when flying in Germany and dealing with just one service provider.

The former Titletown Jet Center in Green Bay, Wis., is now Jet Air Services. The FBO recently opened a new 5,000-sq-ft terminal building and 24,000-sq-ft hangar. Strategically located for great circle route arrivals from international destinations, Jet Air now offers international trash handling, thanks to the airport’s installation of sanitizing equipment and airport-based U.S. Customs agents.

McClellan Jet Services at McClellan Airfield north of Sacramento, Calif., has joined the Shell Aviation fuel network and will offer customers Shell AeroClass rewards. The FBO is housed in an 8,000-sq-ft terminal building and offers 220,000 sq ft of hangar space.

ExecuJet Europe’s new VIP customer lounge is now open and shares design features with the company’s Berlin-Schönefeld and London City Airport FBO lounges. Furnishings and the design were provided by Swiss design firm deSede.
