Pentastar Aviation Implements Growth in 2013
Building on the recent FAR Part 145 approval of its new maintenance facility in Oxford, Conn. in the final days of last year, Pentastar Aviation is implementing several growth initiatives this year. The certification allows Pentastar to offer customers a range of aircraft maintenance capabilities on the East Coast.
Pentastar Aviation, headquartered at Oakland County International Airport in Waterford, Mich., has weathered the past year’s economic turmoil and added 11 aircraft to the company’s charter/management fleet, a significant accomplishment given the dramatic cuts taking place in Michigan’s automotive-focused economy.
Pentastar Aviation was recently issued FAR 145 Repair Station Airframe Class 3 and 4 ratings. The FAA ratings replace the company’s previous limited airframe ratings and authorize Pentastar’s FAR 145 repair station to maintain all models of small and large aircraft of all metal construction.
