At most FBOs, as the snow falls, so does traffic. But not at Vail Valley Jet Center in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains: the falling powder is the siren’s song for legions of skiers and snowboarders.

ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China has moved into a new maintenance facility on the west side of Tianjin Binhai International Airport, China. The facility, which was recently audited by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, offers a new 62,400-sq-ft building with 29,000 sq ft of hangar space, as well as 71,000 sq ft of dedicated apron.
Jet Aviation is currently rebranding its FBOs in Jeddah and in Dubai at Dubai International Airport as part of its refurbishment and corporate rebranding program. Jet Aviation is currently rebranding its FBO facility in Jeddah to integrate the new corporate look and feel launched in Geneva and Zurich last year. With runway construction under way at Dubai International Airport, the company is overhauling this facility while all FBO, line maintenance and AOG services are being supported out of its Dubai World Central facility.
Swiss business aviation providers Vertis Aviation and ExecuJet have joined forces to offer the first Gulfstream G650 jet available for charter in Europe. The Swiss-registered aircraft is based at Zurich, and its long-range, high-speed capability is expected to be in high demand this summer.
ExecuJet Aviation Group and Rolls-Royce have signed agreements authorizing ExecuJet service centers in China, Malaysia, South Africa, Nigeria and Australia to perform engine line maintenance, removals and installations on the Rolls-Royce BR710.
Rolls-Royce and ExecuJet Middle East signed an initial engine service agreement in 2012 authorizing ExecuJet’s Dubai service center to perform engine line maintenance, removals and installations on the Rolls-Royce BR710 and AE3007A.
Zurich-based aircraft management provider Jet Aviation (Booth 418) is putting the spotlight here at EBACE on new developments at its facilities and in its aircraft management services from Asia and the Middle East to Europe and South America.
Around two years ago ExecuJet established an FBO operation at Cambridge International Airport, leasing the premises from airport owner Marshall Aviation Services. While that business has grown significantly, ExecuJet identified Cambridge as an ideal location for handling its planning and support business, and consequently moved a large portion of that activity to a location alongside the Cambridge FBO.
Private charter operator Qatar Executive is set to open a new FBO at Doha’s Hamad International Airport shortly, having already moved its headquarters there. The company plans to strengthen its core Middle East, Far East and African markets next year, its new head, executive vice president David Edwards, told AIN.
