A popular tech stop for international flights, North Dakota’s Hector International recently moved its customs facility next to Fargo (N.D.) Jet Center, making it more convenient for business aircraft passengers to clear customs.

For business aviation passengers, international arrivals and departures at Hector International Airport in Fargo, N.D., have become a lot easier with the relocation of the U.S. Customs and Immigrations facility to the north general aviation ramp, adjacent to the 23-acre Fargo Jet Center, the lone services provider on the field. The new $1 million, 3,600-sq-ft structure, which is available 24/7, was designed using U.S. Customs guidelines and features the latest technology to expedite clearance.

The U.S. Customs office at Fargo (N.D.) Hector International Airport has moved to the north general aviation ramp into a new facility adjacent to Fargo Jet Center. Before the move, crews and passengers flying in from airports outside of the U.S. had to clear customs at a facility more than a mile from the FBO, the airport said. Now located just 100 yards from the Fargo Jet Center, the new 3,603-sq-ft customs office allows passengers and crews clearing customs and immigration to have easier access to the FBO facilities. Customs is open 24/7 in Fargo.
