Landmark Aviation has opened its new FBO terminal at Paris Le Bourget Airport. Constructed over the past year on its leasehold adjacent to the company’s current hangar, the 8,500-sq-ft facility includes a lounge, bistro, pilot lounge, passenger lobby, prayer room, flight-planning center and two conference rooms. “Our new facility is much more spacious and offers additional amenities that will allow us to provide a better experience for our customers,” said Denis Bourgois, the location’s general manager. Landmark also plans to add a covered parking structure for customers.

Dassault Aviation received orders for 38 Falcons in the first half of this year while delivering 25, CEO Eric Trappier announced on Friday in Paris. The orders were worth €1.6 billion ($2.2 billion), a 29-percent increase over the same period in 2013 and a continuous improvement since the first half of 2011.
Hubstart Paris Region (Booth 5525), an alliance of organizations with the goal of promoting economic development of the Greater Roissy area encompassing the Paris-Le Bourget and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airports, is promoting the advantages of Le Bourget, in particular, as “Europe’s leading business-aviation hub.” The group is also emphasizing two lesser-known Paris airports, namely Pontoise-Cormeilles-en-Vexin and Melun-Villaroche, which it considers “key sites in Europe for business growth and economic development.”
PPG (Hall 2b, C121) has donated its latest-technology Desothane HD coating for the restoration of the original Falcon jet, the Mystère 20. IT Mercure, a nonprofit French restoration team, restored the prototype of the Falcon line (serial number 1) and the aircraft is on display here at Le Bourget in front of the Advanced Air Support hangar, just outside the show static display area.
