In-service aircraft are joining newly built aircraft in eligibility for Dassault Falcon’s FalconCare guaranteed maintenance program. In-service Falcon customers can enroll in the program from the first C-check and use it anywhere in the manufacturer’s worldwide authorized service center network.
As the number of business jets in the Asia Pacific region continues to grow steadily, so does the need for regular maintenance. As the market matures, operators are seeing the value of guaranteed maintenance plans such as those provided by Jet Support Systems Inc. (JSSI) in North America.
The Gulfstream G280 is the latest addition to Jet Support Services’ Tip-to-Tail hourly-cost maintenance program. The program, which covers the engines, airframe and APU, offers G280 operators a single-source maintenance solution.
Cessna Aircraft is offering a program that covers all scheduled maintenance and parts costs for new Citation Sovereigns for the first five years or 1,500 flight hours. According to Cessna, the Sovereign Shield program “practically eliminates maintenance-related direct operating costs” for 2013 Citation Sovereigns, allowing owners to operate the aircraft for “far less” than other midsize business jets.
JSSI (Jet Support Services, Inc.) signed a contract here at EBACE with Geneva-based operator Air King Jet, marking the 10,000th aviation asset to be covered by a JSSI hourly cost maintenance program. In this case, the deal is for Platinum coverage for the engines and APU on Air King Jet’s new Bombardier Global 6000 (the aircraft is due to be delivered after the show).
