Asset-management firm Victory Park Capital has sold its portfolio company Ascent Aviation Services to New Orleans-based private equity firm LongueVue Capital Partners II. The terms of the deal were not made public.

Greenpoint Aerospace has acquired Jet Works Air Center, a business aircraft completion, refurbishment and MRO facility at Denton (Texas) Municipal Airport. Greenpoint plans to perform interior refurbishment and executive completion work, exterior paint, avionics repair and installation and MRO work at the new location. .

Canadian company Vector Aerospace is in the planning stages for its first maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) subsidiary and service center in Latin American. Senior executives from the company, which already has MRO facilities in 21 countries on six continents, along with its local representatives are at LABACE (Stand 3005) to discuss their services with local operators.

Greenwich AeroGroup announced today that Atlantic Aero in Greensboro, N.C., and Western Aircraft in Boise, Idaho, have received AS9110 quality system certifications. Now all three Greenwich AeroGroup maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service centers are AS certified. The internationally recognized AS9110 standard focuses on MRO services and is an offshoot of the AS9100 standard that addresses the aviation industry. “We are extremely pleased with these achievements,” said Greenwich AeroGroup senior v-p Jeff Mihalic.
