Helicopter MRO Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services North America (HSNA), a subsidiary of Vector Aerospace, has signed a five-year agreement with Era Helicopters to repair and overhaul dynamic components for Era’s Sikorsky S-76 and Eurocopter AS350 fleets.

Under the terms of the five-year agreement, HSNA will provide Era with inspection, repair, overhaul, testing, modification and other services, including on-site rental assets for Era’s S-76 and AS350 fleets.

Duncan Aviation has selected Houston-based AV8 MRO as its preferred provider for the repair and overhaul of all Hawker landing gear.

“This agreement allows Duncan Aviation to take advantage of our complete in-house repair and overhaul capabilities, while also giving them the opportunity to offer an overhaul exchange program to their customers,” said Yoel Arnoni, one of the MRO’s principals.

The CRS RCG, responsible for vendor and asset management, interfaces with customers on managing repairs and providing technical information. Tapia is an A&P mechanic and has been in the aviation industry for more than 20 years in roles ranging from component repairman, manager of a repair station, sales regional manager to purchasing manager for a charter flight department.

Greenpoint Aerospace has acquired Jet Works Air Center, a business aircraft completion, refurbishment and MRO facility at Denton (Texas) Municipal Airport. Greenpoint plans to perform interior refurbishment and executive completion work, exterior paint, avionics repair and installation and MRO work at the new location. .

Senior executives from the company, which already has MRO facilities in 21 countries on six continents, along with its local representatives are at LABACE (Stand 3005) to discuss their services with local operators.

Flightcraft’s roots go deep into the local community. The company began serving the lumber industry in the late 1940s when Si King, Charlie Miller and a couple of lumber companies, including Weyerhaeuser, got together to support the transportation needs of the lumber industry.
