Beechcraft appointed South Africa-based Absolute Aviation an authorized parts distributor for sub-Saharan Africa. Absolute Aviation, which has acted as Beechcraft’s exclusive aircraft distributor for sub-Saharan Africa since 2011, will have $1 million of inventory in stock at Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, to support the Beechcraft product line as well as the Hawker 125 series.

Beechcraft has appointed Kingsley Okoli regional sales director for Sub-Saharan Africa, the company announced on Tuesday. Based in Nigeria, Okoli spent 13 years in the U.S. Air Force, including work that involved the West Africa region and the Nigerian air force.
BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) has made several additions to its global support staff. In the Asia Pacific region, the maintenance provider (Booth No. 3100) has added Luke Chiang, most recently director of regional jet sales at Jet Aviation, as a regional sales manager of its Singapore-based sales team. The center, which opened in Singapore this year, now includes a territorial director and three regional sales managers. The company also named Wayne Thompson as a regional field service engineer based in Brisbane, Australia.
