The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) has teamed with JSfirm.com to launch its avionics and maintenance job posting on PAMA’s web site. Jeff Richards, business development manager for JSfirm.com, told AIN, “We currently have 4,600 aviation-related jobs on our website and about 2,300 are either avionics or maintenance and currently being displayed on PAMA’s website. About 90 percent of those job postings are for positions in the U.S. and Canada.”
JSfirm.com entered into the relationship because of the traffic to PAMA’s website, said Richards. “A lot of people go to PAMA’s website every day. Most of them are passive job seekers, meaning they’re not actively looking for a job but if they’re presented with a good opportunity they’ll be interested. Maybe they’ve always wanted to move back to where their family is located or they want a new challenge in the career. They go to PAMA’s website and discover their ideal situation is available,” he said.
JSfirm.com is a free service to job seekers.
