UK regional Flybe has completed acquisition of much of Manchester-based British Airways subsidiary BA Connect, receiving the business and some £130 million ($250 million) in exchange for granting British Airways a 15-percent stake in the enlarged operation.

Brian Rowe, former head of GE Aviation, died February 22. He was 75. Rowe joined GE in 1957 and later led the CF6 engine program. He was named head of GE Aviation in 1979.

Hans Doll was promoted to director of customer and product support for Grob Aerospace. He was previously head of sales for Grob training aircraft. Denzil White was named director of international sales for the Grob training fleet as well as director of special mission aircraft.
