Ruag Aerospace Services of Germany signed a contract with Aerospace Services of Netherlands to deliver two Dornier 228-212 twin turboprops to its coast guard for maritime patrol. By late 2007, the two aircraft are to be overhauled, get a glass cockpit and a Honeywell TPE 331-10 engine upgrade.

Monarch Airlines of the UK has ordered CTT Systems’ (Stand A131) zonal-drying systems for its 27-strong fleet. Monarch will equip its Airbus A300s, A320s, A321s and Boeing 757s and 767s by the end of next year.

EADS Socata has delivered a new TBM 700C2 to Donald “Zanda” McDonald, director of Australian beef producer MDH Holdings. McDonald, a pilot rated both on planes and helicopters, flew the aircraft himself from Socata’s facility in Tarbes, France, to Mount Isa, Australia–an 8,800-nm trip.
