King Air C90GT Replaces C90B

Raytheon Aircraft received FAA certification for its King Air C90GT and deliveries started last month. The $2.95 million turboprop, powered by two 750-shp Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-135s, flies and climbs faster and can take off in shorter distances than the C90B it replaces.

American VLJ to be built for Eastern Europeans

Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing (TAM) has concluded an agreement with Oregon-based Epic Aircraft to license-build the Epic Jet and market it in East Europe.  The all carbon fiber aircraft powered by two Williams FJ33 engines is scheduled to begin flight trials in the first quarter of next year, leading to certification in mid-2007.

Exports of Beriev amphib follow foreign approvals
