Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based Aero Toy Store announced Tuesday the grand opening of a Las Vegas sales center, located at McCarran International Airport. The sales and completions company owns FBOs and sales centers in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Montreal, Canada.
The new 19,500-sq-ft facility includes 4,500 sq ft of office space and a 15,000-sq-ft hangar to showcase the company’s new and pre-owned aircraft. Aero Toy Store specializes in long-range, widebody aircraft such as Bombardier Challenger 604s and 605s, Global Expresses and Gulfstream IVs and Vs, but the inventory includes small to midsize jets as well.
“Las Vegas is important because of its proximity to the West Coast, areas like Los Angeles and Seattle,” said Ben Shirazi, COO of Aero Toy Store. “The location gives us a good foothold in the area.”
Aero Toy Store is also the exclusive provider of Pininfarina Edition aircraft. The Italian company provides specialty automobile designs for Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
Shirazi explained that many customers are not satisfied with standard completions work and interior design. Modern customers want the “sexiness” associated with having an automobile or airplane designed by Pinafarina or Versace, he said. A Pininfarina Edition Learjet 60 is on display here at NBAA.
In addition, the company is displaying a Boeing Business Jet, a Bombardier Global Express, a Challenger 601 and 604 and a Cessna Citation VI. All the aircraft are for sale, Shirazi said.
