Avinode Boosts Online Charter Business

Avinode is back at EBACE (Booth No. 754) to present its new price quotation tool and new availability board. The Swedish firm provides pricing, availability and flight time information, as well as photos of the aircraft, which are sorted by category, model, operator and actual net charter price.

Today, 300 business aircraft operators with a combined fleet of more than 1,200 aircraft, ranging from the Piper Seneca to the Boeing MD-80, and 200 professional brokers are using Avinode for their daily business. Avinode claims to be generating about 900 to 1,000 confirmed flights per month.

“We are adding about 10 new operators and five new brokers every month,” said Niklas Berg, Avinode CEO. “We are going through the strongest growth rate ever and there does not seem to be any sign of it slowing down,” he added.

In addition to the demo of its latest features, Avinode has also planned the following events during EBACE: a champagne mingle for members today (at4 p.m.) and a user seminar tomorrow (between 2 and 4 p.m.) in Ballroom B.
