Business Jet Center at Oakland International Airport is celebrating its fifth anniversary of FBO operations this month. Over the past three years, the Bay Area FBO has recorded a 106-percent increase in combined jet-A and avgas pumped while traffic has increased by more than 200 percent.
Since beginning operations in 2003, Business Jet Center (Booth No. 4521) has grown from operating in a rented modular building to occupying a $4.5 million renovation of the original 1920s Art-Deco style terminal.
It has more than 100,000 sq ft of managed hangar, shop and terminal facilities.
