Cessna Taps Eaton for Columbus Fuel System

Cessna Aircraft has selected Eaton to supply the fuel system for the Citation Columbus, a $28 million large-cabin business jet due to enter service in 2014. The contract calls for Eaton to design and produce the fuel system, including the electric fuel boost pump, ejector pumps, flow control valves for fuel transfer, the refuel/de-fuel subsystem and fuel quantity measurement system.

Eaton broadened its presence in the market for aircraft fuel systems with the recent acquisitions of Agro-Tech and Cobham’s fuel and air division.
