Cessna To Offer JetBed as an Option

JetBed (Booth No. 5420) has reached an agreement with Cessna Aircraft for the Wichita-based OEM to offer the portable bed as optional original equipment of all of Cessna’s Citation line except the Mustang.

The JetBed, starting at $3,995, is designed to fit between two upright, facing seats in club configuration. It weighs about 15 pounds and inflates quickly with a rechargeable cordless pump.

Also included are Velcro straps to attach the bed to the seats at each end, a foam mattress and a carrying case. According to the bed’s designer and company owner Gary Bosstick, a number of individual beds were sold at NBAA and he is in discussions with several other OEMs.

“I’ve already designed a prototype for the Gulfstream G550,” said Bosstick.
