Citation CJ4 To Get IPS Power Converter

Cessna has selected Innovative Power Solutions to provide power conversion for the new Citation CJ4 business jet. The custom-designed 125 amp, 3.75 kilowatt transformer rectifier unit (TRU) will provide full-rated DC output power at wide AC input frequency range down to 200Hz.

The TRU chosen for the CJ4 expands on the IPS power conversion product portfolio, which includes the regulated transformer rectifier unit (RTRU). Teledyne Turbines picked one such advanced system for a new UAV.
