BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul’s Dallas Airmotive has added Pratt & Whitney Canada PW300 hot-section inspection service at its Love Field regional turbine center (RTC).Remodeling of the Dallas RTC was completed in early January to accommodate the tooling required for PW300 engine work. Since then the facility has completed hot-section inspections and repairs on a number of PW300 engines.
“A benefit of placing hot-section work in an RTC is it accommodates fast turn times,” said company president Hugh McElroy.
