The Robert F. Maguire Heliport opened on December 4 in Los Angeles.
The new heliport is located atop the 15-story Grand Ave. Garage at 240 West Venice next to the I-10 Freeway.
It will serve corporate and EMS customers accessing California Hospital, the Los Angeles Convention Center, the Staples Center, the University of Southern California and L.A. Live. The new heliport is a four-minute flight to Los Angeles International Airport; a five-minute flight to Santa Monica Airport, seven minutes from Van Nuys, and 14 from John Wayne/Orange County.
