Flight Options Teams with Starlink on Canadian Venture

Fractional provider Flight Options of Cleveland and charter firm Starlink Aviation of Montreal yesterday announced an international partnership to form Flight Options Canada. The agreement will offer seamless “private jet travel products and an expanded network of private travel facilities and services on both sides of the border,” the companies said.

For U.S. residents who travel to, from and within Canada, the new partnership’s operations will supplement Flight Options’ fleet of 130 aircraft. Meanwhile, Flight Options’ JetPass program will be expanded north of the 49th parallel, allowing Canadian customers to sign up for the company’s jet card.

According to a Flight Options spokeswoman, “The marketing arrangement does not implicate the issue of cabotage. In fact, the arrangement will permit customers of each company to use the services of the other company when intra-Canada and intra-U.S. flights are requested.

Flight Options Canada will immediately offer fractional ownership, JetPass membership, charter and aircraft management programs within Canada, and Starlink Aviation will continue to offer FBO, aircraft sales, brokering and maintenance services.
