After opening in temporary facilities in May, the new Hangar 10 FBO at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport in Kansas City, Mo., has entered the next phase of construction.
Hangar 10’s phase II project includes building a new FBO terminal and the first of what will become three hangar bays encompassing 56,000 sq ft. The state of Missouri is helping pay for the new facility with a $3.5 million tax credit, which will help to fund work needed to stabilize poor soil conditions and other extraordinary construction costs.
