Last week, Airport Expo Centre hosted the third biennial Helishow Dubai, which boasted a record 130 exhibitors. The event, which incorporated the new Dubai Air Medical & Rescue show, filled the East Hall and featured 10 aircraft on the adjacent static display.
Perhaps surprisingly, the only rotorcraft manufacturers that exhibited at Helishow and chose to remain in Dubai to exhibit at this week’s MEBA show were Eurocopter and Sikorsky. Helicopter-support companies that also elected to attend both events were Emirates-CAE Flight Training, Falcon Aviation and Palm Aviation.
Helishow Dubai, which attracted around 5,000 visitors, was host also to the International Helicopter Safety Symposium.
