Kansas City’s Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport (Booth No.
2795) has announced a variety of improvements, including a $17.3 million, 96-hangar project that is scheduled for completion next summer and a $22 million construction project that will allow faster access to Runway 1-19. Meanwhile, a four-hangar development called Hangar 10 is being built at the airfield’s north end.
Also, a $69.6 million project to refurbish the airport’s main runways initiated by the Kansas City Aviation Department will be completed this month.
