Inaer To Take Over Elilario

As these pages went to press, Spanish-based operator Inaer was about to close its acquisition of Italian counterpart Elilario. Inaer operates 136 helicopters for EMS, offshore support, aerial work, surveillance, firefighting, scheduled air transport and executive charter.

It has bases in Spain, Chile, Portugal and Italy. It is known under several brands, including Helisureste in Spain and Elidolomiti in Italy.

Elilario operates 30 twin-engine helicopters in offshore, firefighting and EMS roles. It has about 20 bases throughout the country and owns French operator Proteus Hélicoptères.
