Interest Shown in Bexair’s Airplane Financing

Bahrain Executive Air Services (Bexair) is seeing strong interest in its new aircraft financing venture, Arabian Aircraft & Equipment Leasing Co. (AAELCO). “Everyone is interested,” finance and administration director Marwan Al-Tassan said here yesterday. “There is demand from buyers but they can’t get the financing from the banks. If they come to Bexair they can get the financing through AAELCO and we can manage the aircraft as well.”

Bexair can identify the right aircraft based on the client’s travel requirements, he said, and handle everything from the pre-buy inspection of used aircraft or the completion of new ones through maintenance, crewing and operation. “We have our own air operator’s certificate so it will be legal for hire and reward services,” he added.

The company took delivery of its fifth aircraft, a Bombardier Challenger 604, last month, and expects another of the same type in December. It already has one Challenger 604, along with a Challenger 601-3R, a Cessna Citation Bravo and a Citation Excel.
