Passenger comfort drives design of Large Cabin Concept from Cessna
Cessna has been a dominant force in business jet manufacturing for more than three decades, rolling out new Citation models at a pace that has kept buyers satisfied and competitors on their toes.
Word that the manufacturer is considering a move into larger territory has piqued the interest of current Citation operators who are considering a move up-market from light, midsize or super-midsize models and into a large, long-range business jet.
Cessna unveiled a mockup of its Large Cabin Concept at last year’s NBAA Convention to rave reviews. Cindy Halsey, Cessna’s vice president of interior design, engineering and development, discussed the ways the company is making a large tube design interesting and relevant.
