Jet Aviation Awarded CAMO Plus Certificate

Jet Aviation’s aircraft management and charter division has announced it has been awarded the EASA Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) Plus certificate by EASA. This will allow the company to perform annual airworthiness reviews for both its managed fleet and for aircraft of other private operators.

EU-registered aircraft with takeoff weights exceeding 5.7 tons are required to be managed by CAMO effective Sept. 28, 2008, and their certificates of airworthiness need to be amended by a renewable Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC).

Organizations issuing or renewing ARCs must have CAMO Plus approval. Jet Aviation has hired additional staff to perform CAMO services within the time required and to offer the new service to its customers.
