The 96-month inspection of a Challenger 604 gave JetCorp’s St. Louis facility the downtime required to make significant interior modifications and cabin entertainment upgrades in the customer’s airplane.
“With the Challenger 604s coming out of warranty, we recognize that more and more customers are looking for an exceptional facility to complete the
critical 96-month inspections,” said JetCorp president Bill McLendon.
“We offer a full range of capabilities, including high-end interior refurbishment and cutting-edge cabin entertainment systems. We are pleased to offer an attractive and efficient alternative to the factory-authorized service centers, where cost and lead time can be daunting.”
In the recently completed Challenger 604, upgrades consisted of a cabin entertainment system with Rockwell Collins Tailwind 300 airborne satellite television, including a tail radome to house the satellite tv antenna. JetCorp installed 24-inch LCD monitors on both the forward and aft cabin bulkheads. Removal of the forward left-hand seats and modification of the side ledge and forward bulkhead made room for a custom-designed conference grouping complete with customer required STC approval.
