Maintenance customers of Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) at Berlin-Schönefeld in Germany can earn loyalty points in the company’s new Maintenance Plus program. Three loyalty levels are offered–platinum, gold or silver–each with different incentives that might include special AOG support and customized maintenance contracts, according to LBAS.
“For platinum customers sending their aircraft to us regularly,” said managing director Andreas Kaden, “we will offer special incentives to allow them to be even more competitive in their markets. LBAS is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik (51 percent), Bombardier (29 percent) and ExecuJet Aviation Group (20 percent).
Lufthansa Technik also announced that it signed a five-year contract to provide its Total Component Support program for up to 40 aircraft, including business jets, operated by National Air Services of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The two companies are “evaluating intensively further opportunities to cooperate in aircraft maintenance,” according to Lufthansa Technik.
