Leitner EDV (Booth No. 1077) has developed custom-tailored software for small to medium-sized maintenance shops. The German company’s LTB/400 system tracks, for instance, service bulletins (SBs) and airworthiness directives (ADs) on the Internet for aircraft in maintenance at a shop.
Current versions are compatible with EASA airworthiness directives and service bulletins from Eurocopter, Turbomeca and Pratt & Whitney, with additional versions being developed. It then automatically assigns SBs and ADs to work orders, prints job cards and thus reduces paperwork. Other tasks the system performs are maintenance planning and work management, including inventory monitoring, documentation management, recording of pilot inputs, sales orders and invoicing, barcode systems, labor time tracking, tools and test devices monitoring, filing historical maintenance records and basic data administration.
The software runs under Windows or integrated systems. According to founder and CEO Wolfgang Leitner, the system has a market share of about 60 percent in Germany among companies for which it was designed. Leitner now wants to push sales in other markets.
