Local TV Reports Eclipse Employees Unpaid

Albuquerque’s NBC affiliate TV station, KOB, reported earlier today that the employees of Eclipse Aviation learned this morning that they will not be receiving paychecks for their last two weeks’ work. “They were handed a sheet of paper with a toll-free phone number to call to see if they would be paid…Employees were told that they could come and go from the workplace throughout the day but many immediately emptied their desks and left,” KOB reported.

Some employees told the TV station that, at a meeting held early this morning, company officials “told them they stayed up into the early morning hours trying to find a way to assure the workers would be paid but were unable to do so. AIN’s calls to Eclipse this morning went unanswered.

The company’s main front desk phone number rang repeatedly with no answer, and the cellphone of the company’s press relations person went straight to voice mail.
